After speculating on the downfall of former super-lawyer, Mr. Charity, etc., William Conour in this blog, a friend and former colleague sent this:

"One forgets taht Mr. Conour was first married to Toni Conour, a Marion County judge, who, upon contracting cancer, saw her husband slip away because he couldn't face it."

"So he took up with a much younger woman (who, as a claim to fame) had some of those sexy boudoir photos taken by a prominent Zionsville photographer as a gift to Bill in their ensuing courtship."

Hot stuff.

I never knew Judge Conour, but I recall she was popular with reporters at the Indianapolis Star, especially some of the women who considered her a good friend. They were devastated by her illness and ultimate death.

Apparently her then-husband was not. Or maybe the guilt of his actions are sort of his karma today?

Who knows?

And just curious, why was this not in the Star's story Sunday? It sheds some light. Archives not working? Or has Gannett so disembowled the old "morgue" that scant info is available to reporters?
